How to Set up BrosTrend AX1500 WiFi Extender?
The AX1500 WiFi extender setup can be completed with the help of the WPS method. It means you just need to press the WPS buttons on your devices. Here are the devices that you need to follow in order to complete the setup via WPS:
- Plug in your BrosTrend AX1500 into an available wall socket into the room where you have placed your main router.
- Restart your main router.
- Once done, find and press the WPS button on your main router.
- Within 2 minutes, move to your BrosTrend AX1500 extender and press its WPS button.
- Wait for the Signal Indicator to turn solid.
- Now, relocate the extender, but, keep it within the WiFi coverage of the main router.

How to Complete BrosTrend AX1500 Setup Manually?
If somehow, you are not able to set up the AX1500 extender using the WPS approach, you can take the help of the manual method to complete the installation. For that, you need to access the graphical user interface of the extender. Here’s how you can make things up and running:
- Unplug the root router from the power outlet.
- Connect the router back to its respective outlet and switch it on.
- Thereafter, you should turn on the BrosTrend AX1500 range extender.
- As soon as you feel that the extender is ready to use, you are supposed to switch on your PC.
- On the WiFi Settings page, look for the default network name of your BrosTrend extender and connect to it.
The default SSID of the AX1500 BrosTrend is BrosTrend_EXT and it does not require any password. Thus, you can join the extender’s network effortlessly.
- Open a web browser now and go to brostrendwifi.com.
- The next window will prompt you to create an admin password for your AX1500 extender.
- After giving a login password to the extender, choose the network you wish to extend.
- Select your router’s WiFi network and input its WiFi password.
- Customize the network name and password of your BrosTrend device.
- You will soon see the Extended Successfully message.
- This is a sign that BrosTrend AX1500 setup is completed.
